How long is a session?
Individual sessions last between 60–70 minutes. Couple and family sessions run 80–90 minutes.

Do you work online only?
Yes. All sessions are held online, so you can join from wherever you are.

In what language is the session?
Doxyri Psychology offers therapy in both English and Dutch.

What happens in the first session?
The first session is focused on understanding your situation, goals, and what you would like to work on. Together we decide the direction that best fits your needs.

Do you treat minors?
Yes, but only in certain cases. In family therapy, children of any age can be part of the process. For individual therapy, the minimum age is 16 years.

How do I book or change an appointment?
You can schedule by emailing info@Doxyri.com. Cancellations or changes should be made at least 24 hours in advance.

What are the payment options?
Payments are made at the end of each session. We accept PayPal, MBWay, QR code, Revolut, and bank transfer.

What if I need urgent help?
Doxyri does not provide emergency services. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency number immediately.

Is everything I share confidential?
Yes. Everything discussed in sessions is confidential.

What therapies do you offer?
In addition to individual, couple, and family sessions, Doxyri provides evidence-based therapies, including:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – often used for trauma and PTSD.

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) – focuses on changing thought patterns and behaviors.

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) – helps with emotional regulation and relationships.

  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) – uses mindfulness and values-based approaches.
